MY PAINTING
I see my work as a journey, not only in time and space, but in my own and others’ beings. In our ability, will and courage to express what we want or what we need. I explore the human condition and that which takes place in our identities and relationships. The challenges in life interest me. Shortcomings. Overcomings.
I paint in oil. The choices of motif are simple shapes in a diffuse reality; tranquility and tension meet. I am attracted to the bold beauty of ugliness; people, landscapes, horses, houses and diverse objects.
